Soul Mates

This month is focused on introducing you to the program, doing a bit of an induction of expectations and possibilities, understanding the flow and language of the course. You will use the month to form a foundation, vison and commitement, to each other and this process 

This lecture series for the month looks at principles, what principles are, the value of principles and the possibility of a principal lead partnership. You will learn about some of the statistics around marriage and divorce and learn that divorce is not often the best solution. The discussion is also focused on experiences and how different experiences have different value and you will also take a deep dive into looking at what love really means.

Month two ends with looking at love conceptually. Month three continues building on the foundation of this concept of love by looking at love languages and the establishment of practices that fill a reservoir of love. You will look at the key factor that binds married couples together and look at a principle that defines your experience, and it’s not what you think it is.  Your partner is never the source of how you experience your partner.

This module is where the work starts to get real. There is a lot of introspective work to be done this month, that will encourage you to look at the facts, as they are and define where you want to be. Its only when we know where we are, that we can plot a strategy to where we want to be.

This module looks at who you are, and why you do the things you do the way you do them. There are a couple of profiling tools for you to play with. The better you know you and the better you know your partner, the greater authenticity of your love for one another. So you will also get to learn about some of the differences between men and woman and the differences between masculinity and femininity. 

We continue to learn about our differences and how these differences are represented throughout generations in what we call archetypes, seeing iit in our history, literature, media, and fantasies. We open the conversation about best communication practices and how to develop unity and foster equality withing the relationship.

One of the less developed communications skills is our ability to listen. You will learn about listening skills as you continue to learn to communicate. Your awareness will be provoked about the impact, "always trying to be right", has on the relationship. This course is about relationships and so you will look at the various levels your relationship could fall under in this module. As human beings, we all have psychological needs. Understanding your partners needs will help you connect more deeply with your partner.

In this module we focus on specific skills and principles that are good practical skills for your relationship. A part of  what makes your relationship work is you and your well-being. This month you will be introduced to the value of personal well-being and the importance of taking care of yourself as part of your strategy to take care of your relationship.

We are spiritual beings and our spirituality and connection to something bigger than ourselves, impacts our connection to our partner. This is why we look at spirituality in this module. Finances are major mine fields in relationships and it's impact is the cause for major stress in relationships. We look at some best practices around finances in this module. You will learn the skill of letting go, which will be handy when you look at your childhood pain and dysfunctions in the last week of this module.

Our parents or major childhood carers, play one of the most vital influencing factors in all our relationships. This module starts with looking at our relationship to our parents and becoming aware of their perpetual influence on how we treat our partners.  This is why we look into the principle of shadows, the emotions of anger and the skill of forgiveness.

Conflict is inevitable. If you had skills to navigate conflict, aided by self-created fighting rules and apply the skills you have learned through navigating this course, then your passion for each other will have grow and expanded. That is why we look at intimacy and sex in this module.

This module is the culmination and completion of all the work you have done throughout the year. You will look at how to enrich your relationship as your last learned skill. You will learn to complete many aspects of your life. The crowing event of this course is the celebration of your relationship. You could consider a renewal of vows ceremony, or a marriage proposal. This modul is a celebration of the commitment  to walk off into the sunset to live connected, skilled, valued and committed to the love of your life.
